The Kansas City Jury Verdict Service collects all verdicts rendered in civil cases in the Kansas City area, including the Kansas counties of Johnson and Wyandotte, and the Missouri counties of Jackson, Clay, and Platte. These include jury trials in both state and federal courts. The service reports all verdicts rendered by juries in cases involving car accidents, semi-truck accidents, “slip and fall” cases, products liability claims, and other cases involving a personal injury which are not work-related.
The Missouri Department of Labor oversees the state Division of Workers’ Compensation.
