Brock MasonAttorney
“I grew up seeing my mother, Leah Mason, work as a personal injury attorney for Edelman & Thompson. I admired her passion for helping people who, through no fault of their own, found themselves injured and financially stressed. I was always so proud of her when she’d come home and tell us about helping to make things right for people. I considered a number of career options, but the idea of helping people who need legal assistance put me on the education path toward earning a law degree.”
Brock received his undergraduate degree (2019) and his law degree (2022) from the University of Kansas. While in law school, Brock served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rex Gabbert, a judge in the Western Division of the Missouri Court of Appeals. After law school, Brock clerked for the Honorable Travis Willingham, a judge in the Jackson County Courts System. He joined Edelman & Thompson in 2022.
Soon after joining the firm, Brock got married. His wife is a NICU Nurse at Children’s Mercy Hospital. Brock enjoys golf and frequent dog park visits with his high energy miniature Australian Shepherds, Scout and Ranger.
