Elizabeth Van EremAttorney

Elizabeth is a Kansas City native who graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in cell biology.

After working as a paralegal at Edelman & Thompson for two years, she returned to law school at Washburn University while raising her three small children together with her husband Dustin. Following her graduation from law school, Elizabeth returned to Edelman & Thompson, where she practices in the areas of automobile collisions, products liability, premises liability, and insurance “bad faith.”

In 2018 Elizabeth was named to the Top 40 of Lawyers Under 40, by the Association of America’s Top Lawyers.

Elizabeth is active in many community charitable organizations and serves of the board of the Children’s Emergency Fund, an organization that provides aid and assistance to underprivileged children within the Jackson County court system. Elizabeth has extensive trial experience and has participated in favorable outcomes in multi-million-dollar jury trials. She is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Missouri courts.
